PlasmaMade B.V.

PlasmaMade B.V. is a company founded in 2013 in Staphorst that focuses primarily on cleaning the air in indoor spaces. PlasmaMade has impressed the kitchen industry for years with its technology for purifying (cooking) air. The patented PlasmaMade technology was developed after the owner of PlasmaMade, Martin van der Sluis, sought a way to relieve his son with asthma. This resulted in a unique, recirculating filter system that eliminates particulate matter, allergens, bacteria, viruses and odors and which can be mounted in virtually any range hood. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, PlasmaMade began developing a device which, using among other things the aforementioned Air Filter, could filter aerosols from the air in public areas. This has resulted in the launch of the PlasmaMade Air Cleaner AAC37170. The PlasmaMade Air Cleaner is used, among others, by Team NL during the Olympic Games and by Team Jumbo-Visma, but also by various companies such as DMG, Ouwehands Dierenpark and the NRF (Nederlandse Radiateuren Fabriek).
