Choosing sustainable, more sustainable or most sustainable

ATAG House Show 2023

ATAG's 2023 house show provided a clear picture of the brands in the ATAG family. This year, much of the focus was on sustainability. What was different, from the other kitchen installation brands was that ATAG lets you choose at different times. All products are sustainable, but users can also choose to be even more sustainable. The customer decides, and that does matter these days.

The premium brand ATAG showed a number of welcome innovations. Prominently presented were the Premium Green dishwashers.
These are being expanded with two A-label dishwashers. These models are not only very economical, but also clean the best of the already extensive dishwasher family from the Duiven-based built-in brand. During the Green Mode function, users save both water and energy.

Cooking is as popular as ever. More and more people prefer to cook while chatting with their prospective dinner companions. The ATAG Elevate™ makes this easier than ever. The exhaust system makes less than 60 dB of noise. This allows everyone to quietly discuss the day with each other while cooking. The Elevate™ also uses a downward air extraction with an extraction tower. This puts the ventilation closer to the pans, something that is especially interesting with tall pans.

For those looking for a Plug & Play induction cooktop for users looking to replace their gas cooktop, ATAG has the QuickInstall™ induction cooktops. Also with integrated extraction.

Years ago, ATAG expressed its ambition to provide answers to the many wishes of true hobby cooks. With Celsius° Cooking™ induction, ATAG answers many wishes and questions. From now on, users can cook any dish to the degree and second in addition to the familiar cooking modes (1 to 12). And does the user need help? Then ATAG Celsius° Cooking™ helps at every step with clear instructions and video tutorials. 

Pelgrim could also proudly do its rounds with the visitors. Besides dishwashers with A- or B-label, Pelgrim showed induction hobs with recirculation extraction within a range it called 'Smart Choice'. Here, in fact, convenience and cooking experience go hand in hand. Thanks to the LightOnly slider and flex zones, the cooktop is easy to operate. The cooking experience is enhanced with a boost function, keep-warm mode and on-cook function. Finally, the extractor turns on automatically thanks to AutoAir.

If you are looking for more space on the cooktop, Pelgrim also offers a solution here. After all, the new A+ induction offers luxury and power at the same time. A+ induction is an absolute Smart Choice. The IK8093R is 90 cm wide and offers space for as many as six flexzones. Each cooking zone features 16 settings, double boost function, AutoGrill, Chef function, melt and hold mode and a LightOnly slider. In addition, the plate features four automatic cooking programs, such as pasta cooking, steaming and deep frying.

Plenty of new choices in Pelgrim's built-in ovens, too. With four new ovens, including two with microwave function (45 cm
and 60 cm), there is something for everyone. These ovens with microwave function are made entirely of black glass, have a black handle and are operated via touch-control.

The new O560MAT and OPASC560ZWA 60 cm ovens come standard with the new AirFry baking basket. As a Pelgrim consumer, do you want that little bit more? Then the OPASC560ZWA is the top model with features such as AssistSteam, AirBake, 22 automatic programs, a steam clean program, pyrolysis function and ConnectLife.

It was bound to happen, but that does not take away from the fact that we greatly welcome this addition.

Indeed, Pelgrim announces its first wine climate cabinet. The black base cabinet with ConnectLife and push-to-open system has four wooden pull-out shelves. A ribbed bottom ensures stable placement of wine bottles. The touch-
control control with white LED display provides insight into temperature and humidity percentage and accommodates as many as
44 bottles of 0.75 liters.

At ETNA, visitors could find no fewer than 60 novelties. In which ETNA wants to keep as many specifications as possible affordable. Energy efficiency also played an important role here (of course). ETNA Energy Heroes could be discovered in every segment. Like the VW743HNC built-in dishwasher with energy class A, ETNA connect, XL built-in height and many luxury specifications including a time projection on the floor. But the AKV678ZWA Side-by-Side refrigerator also belongs to the Heroes with its energy label C. In terms of built-in cooling, ETNA showed models with energy label D. ETNA launches 5-series induction cooktops in 60, 70 and 90 cm wide. Notable is the KI560KZT, a 2-phase cooktop with knob controls. The 90 cm model, the KIF590ZT, has a powerful 3000W zone in the center between the linkable left and right zones and has the signature 3 slider controls.

ETNA is launching a new matte black oven line consisting of a multifunction oven (OM670MZ), a Pyrolysis model (OP670MZ) for ease of cleaning and a 60 cm oven with microwave function (MO670MZ) that can be combined with the new CM650MZ oven with microwave function.
