During the Küchenmeile at area30, Falmec presented its latest products. The Italian specialist in ventilation technology showed updated versions of existing products and introduced new color options for cooktops. In addition, some popular models were equipped with the Falmec Dialog System, which allows the extractor hood to be operated directly from the Falmec cooktop.
"What Falmec shows here is perfectly in line with current market trends," said Eddy van Tongeren, General Manager of Falmec Benelux. "Our products not only look beautiful, but the design is combined with ease of use using specific technology. We also think it is important to make everyday life easier for people."
One of the main innovations is the Elements collection, a modular system that fully integrates the hood into the room. This makes the range hood virtually invisible, but it also adds extra atmosphere to the room. In addition, the award-winning Monolith system and the new Brooklyn combine sleek design with powerful functionality. Brooklyn uses a kind of "bridge structure" that provides additional work space on the kitchen island and creates a luxurious look with satin aluminum and smoked glass. These products feature brushless motors, providing quiet but powerful extraction. Exactly what we expect from a specialist.
Falmec's downdraft systems, such as Level One and Level Invisible, are also innovative. These exhaust systems are fully integrated into the worktop and offer targeted extraction. The Level Invisible disappears completely into the worktop and is activated with a simple touch via a touch panel.
Among the new integrated cooking systems are the Brera and Zero Easy induction hobs, which combine both cooking and extraction functions in one housing. The Zero Easy comes standard with a Carbon Zeolite filter, which is accessible from above, eliminating not only odor but also cooking vapor. Several variants were presented during the fair, including the Zero Easy in a smaller size of 76 cm and the Brera with an elegant frosted glass finish. Some colored induction hobs were also shown. This addition comes as a surprise in the kitchen industry but is a development we greatly welcome.
Falmec also showed some of its bestsellers, such as the island hood Light. It is available in two sizes: 120 cm and 180 cm wide. Both sizes are available in black painted steel. There is also a 120 cm wide bronze version. The edge extraction combined with Carbon.Zeolite filter technology of the Light models ensures efficient air purification in the kitchen, while the design contributes to a modern, stylish look.
Another important innovation is the integration of the Falmec Dialog System in several models, including the height-adjustable Levante island hood and the Fusion and Verso Easy wall-mounted hoods. This system controls the communication between the hood and the induction cooktop, significantly increasing efficiency and ease of use.
Eddy: "These innovations here at the Küchenmeile show that Falmec continues to innovate while paying attention to what really matters to the user: improved performance, energy efficiency and a healthy living environment."
