Kemie recently expanded its kitchen countertops range with new colors. With the addition of as many as seven colors, the company is capitalizing on the trends of 2024. The most notable trend is the rise of "nude" colors. This collection of skin tones, from soft earth tones to warm neutrals, provide the basis for a calm and soft look.
With many suppliers and manufacturers, so many new colors are only shown during the new Küchenmeile. Kemie is not waiting for this and is already coming out with an expansion of the range. Henk Tuijtelaars of Kemie explains how the expansion came about. "During the Küchenmeile, we presented our new products to the visitors at Bauformat. But in addition, we also listen to their wishes. We give them a form of say. Most of our new collection is already fixed at this point, but for the last part we like to be inspired by visitors. They know best what is wanted in terms of trends and we like to think along with them. This can be certain colors, but also pricing, for example." At the last Küchenmeile, most visitors appeared to be looking forward to expanding the nude colors, and Kemie has now responded.
Within the rise of "nude" colors, Kemie particularly noticed a growing demand for the colors beige and taupe. These colors can be seen in a variety of interior styles, from Japandi to Scandinavian. With the addition of the colors Mahal Royal (Cosmostone), Diamond Cream (Ceramistone) and Zambezia (granite), Kemie is responding to this trend. Tuijtelaars: "But due to the successes of the beige Nuvoloso, we wanted to expand this line with new shades and colors. We think that with the addition of the Blanco, Greige and Marron Nuvoloso, we have even more freedom of choice for the kitchen consultant and their clients. The collection has something for everyone, ranging from quiet base colors to colors with pronounced cloud textures or "drawings. "
There is also expansion in the program "Just Kemie. Just Kemie is a program that makes it easier and simpler for the retailer in terms of calculation with net prices, among other things. Moreover, Just Kemie is exclusive to the trade. Tuijtelaars: "This is a popular program and we have now revitalized it with new colors." An example is the Venturo Gold, which has a white base with brown-gray accents.
Choosing the ideal kitchen countertop, both in terms of color and material, can be challenging. Kemie understands this and enables consumers to make an informed decision by viewing materials in large format. This is an added value, as retailers often have smaller samples of materials. Several slabs from the collection are presented in Kemie's outdoor area and this is open to consumers, giving them an extra good idea of what there is to choose from. Tuijtelaars: "The visit begins in the Loft, located in the heart of the factory. From here one gets an exclusive insight into the production process, from raw plate to custom-made product. After a warm welcome and exploratory talk, the visit follows to the Gallery, where visitors can see and feel various plates. Visiting the Gallery is by appointment only, please register by sending an email to [email protected] stating your name and phone number. For safety reasons, it is not permitted to bring children or pets into the Gallery
