Mark Slappendel new CEO of DKG

Effective May 1, Mark Slappendel started as the new CEO of The Kitchen Group (DKG). He succeeds Erik Boom, who filled the position ad-interim for several months. Mark brings a rich set of international management experience to sustainably expand DKG's leading position in the kitchen industry in the coming years.

Before his appointment, Mark Slappendel was, among other things, Managing Director at the Mixing Systems Division of the Swiss Bühler Group, a leading multinational in technology and innovation in the food sector. As Managing Director at Gpi De Gouwe Tank & Proces Techniek, a Dutch expert for process equipment, he was responsible for international growth and development of the organization.

Jeroen Princen, chairman of the DKG Supervisory Board, is pleased with Mark's arrival; "DKG has had many effort put into honing its plans by having the entire organization actively participate in a winning strategy.
