New colors of high-quality functional edge banding

Matching the new collections of decorative panel and laminate manufacturers 

This year, manufacturers of decorative panels and laminates have launched a number of new collections. These collections all highlight new trends: simplicity, a return to naturalness and timelessness, soft colors and matte finishes in all styles.

Against this background, REHAU, as an established manufacturer in the furniture industry and of high-quality, functional edgebanding, is presenting its new edgebanding matches for the collections of the manufacturers EGGER and PFLEIDERER. 

Subtly modified lace trim

The new Egger Decorative 24+ collection, launched in February, tackles all the new trends with panache. As an edging specialist, REHAU has also taken these trends into account and, with its varied standard range, offers the perfect solutions for harmonious design. The vast majority of the EGGER 24+ collection, consisting of 319 designs (of which 136 are new) in 28 surface textures, is already available now as RAUKANTEX edgebanding from REHAU.

In addition to matching edgebanding for the collection's classic surfaces, REHAU has developed the perfect edgebanding for the PerfectSence collection's matte surfaces. 

Unique distinguishing features

RAUKANTEX noble mat is a perfect example of this and is the ideal complement to the panels in the PerfectSense Mat and TM12 PerfectSense Omnipore Mat series. These edgings are distinguished by their high scratch resistance, anti-fingerprint properties and soft feel, as well as a gloss level of less than 6 points. They are already available in 1 mm thickness and in a wide range of widths.

The RAUKANTEX edgebanding range is also suitable for all new textures, including the ST40 FEELWOOD OAKGRAIN finish with its matte wood look. The newly developed decors feature REHAU Scratch Protect lacquer, which is resistant to fingerprints and scratches and allows the edgebandings to be supplied without a protective film. For extreme mattness, the lacquer has an anti-reflection layer, so the edgebanding does not shine, even at a flat angle.

To ensure optimal design and a high-quality finish in every interior project with the DeepFlow collection, REHAU has developed RAUKANTEX edgebanding especially for this new collection. For a high-quality panel finish and a true one-piece effect, the edgebandings are also available in RAUKANTEX pro, the seamless version of the edgebanding for gluing on laser or hot air machines.
