Proud they may certainly be there in Alphen aan den Rijn. The new showroom of Electrolux, parent company of the brands AEG and Zanussi, can rightly be seen as a place where the term "experience" has been redefined. And so it should be: the eye wants something too. And then the heart.
Speaking is René Lensen, Sales Manager KRT at Electrolux. "Last summer it was finally 'finished,' although at the same time I say that a showroom is actually never finished. After all, developments always go on and it is up to us to continuously show the latest trends. However, there is one important change compared to how our 'old' showroom was set up: in the new showroom we started from kitchen arrangements. No longer a booth- or exhibition-like setup where we place all products and appliances next to each other staccato. Now our appliances are shown to their best advantage. The inspiration we want to convey comes at a higher level. You immediately see - when you're in the showroom - the broader picture."
René hopes to host "the whole market" from January 10 to 19, 2022, at Electrolux's traditional dealer show. It is the chance for everyone to walk through the showroom and literally take inspiration from the cooktop.
"By then, of course, we do depend on the corona rules then in force. But, the days will definitely go on," says René. "On the other hand, anyone who is interested now, AND can't wait, can also just come now. Our team of professionals is almost always present to show the interior designer, the architect and the experts from the kitchen stores around."
"Because ...," René continues. "We have a good story to tell. Of course we are distinguished by innovation and German design. But I think the sustainability story is also a special one. The bottomline is that we want to help consumers live healthier and more sustainable lives. With AEG in the kitchen, that succeeds."
"Our equipment is easy to use but there is also, for example, a link to an app - as with the steam ovens - that automatically sends healthy recipes, and the corresponding oven settings, to the oven. This makes it easier for consumers to adopt this form of cooking and therefore to eat healthier and more often plant-based foods. Not to mention the inspiring cooking workshops we give to consumers who have purchased an AEG SteamPro oven. People no longer need to be 'Chef de Cuisine' to achieve good and healthy results in the kitchen. The combination of our technological innovations with our longstanding ambition to be truly sustainable towards our planet is a unique one. We make sustainability accessible in the kitchen. Today's kitchen is more than the sum of a few appliances. It is a vision of life."
