Beko is committed to a more sustainable future for all households by improving the energy efficiency of home appliances. During the Beko Trade Show, the Turkish built-in manufacturer unveiled their brand new range. A range where Beko shows to be a fine player in the kitchen industry. The event took place in the FC Utrecht soccer stadium.
A few weeks earlier, Beko organized a successful Trade Show in Belgium. This also took place in a soccer stadium of the Belgian club KV Mechelen. In the Netherlands, the Utrecht sub-topper FC Utrecht opened its stadium doors to Beko's customer contacts. It was a unique location where many a visitor walked in with extra interest. But those who came just for the products were not disappointed either. Malu van der Goes, Brand Marketer at Beko, explained the purpose of the Trade Show. "Beko strives to continuously reduce the environmental impact of its products. An example of this is the introduction of SaveWater technology, aimed at combating water shortages."
According to the World Economic Forum, water scarcity is in the top five global risks, affecting a quarter of the world's population. Water is crucial for life and essential for the future of our planet. Malu: "Water is essential to our lives and Beko therefore aims to minimize water consumption in its products. In addition, Beko wants consumers not to have to worry about performance and consumption."
This SaveWater technology, in addition to the division of washing machines and dryers, is also applied to dishwashers. Beko's latest built-in dishwasher BDIN38647C, equipped with the innovative SaveWater technology, consumes 27% less water than comparable models without this feature. This breakthrough technology preserves the clean water from the last rinse cycle for use at the beginning of the next cycle. For hygienic safety, the water in the tank is drained after a maximum of 72 hours if the dishwasher is not used during that time. This innovation can save up to 728 liters of clean water annually, without compromising performance.
Beko's SaveWater technology not only means a positive contribution to the environment, but also to the wallet. "Using water more efficiently reduces energy bills and saves money in the long run. This makes it a wise choice for the household budget," says Malu. But this is not all. At Beko, they believe that eco-friendly solutions should not come at the expense of performance or quality. On the contrary, technology ensures that Beko appliances continue to perform optimally.
Cooking on induction and integrated extraction is possible at Beko with the Hob Extractor (HIXI84700UP). The IndyFlex function allows flexible use of the cooking zones: they adapt to the dishes! Malu: "When people do choose an extractor, Beko presents the smart extractor (BHCB96641BBHS) with HeatSense technology. Using NTC sensors, the hood regulates the amount of extraction needed while cooking. This ensures optimal energy use and less noise during operation." Of course, this Beko extractor with excellent performance can also be used with induction cooktops from other brands.
In addition to the new full black design, the new b300 and bPRO500 series are now equipped with the latest technology such as AirFry. The AirFry technology transforms the oven into a large-capacity AirFryer. Malu: "With this technology, you get a crispy outside and a deliciously cooked inside with less oil." A large-capacity oven is nice, but not always necessary for smaller dishes. Beko's Split & Cook technology provides a solution. "This allows the oven to be split into two separate areas and used separately with a temperature difference of up to 80 degrees and almost half as much energy," said Malu. The Beko Trade Show gave a good idea of the steps the built-in brand has made in recent years. Looking at the value for money, the specifications as well as the answers to sustainable wishes of end users, Beko certainly showed its capabilities to the kitchen retail in the FC Utrecht stadium.
