Beautiful but secretly inconspicuous as you walked by, but all the more striking when you stopped for a moment at Opera's booth at area30 during the Küchenmeile. The supplier in high-end kitchen appliances outdid itself again with the Materia induction worktop and the induction cooktops with integrated extraction Prima Flex and Slim.
With Materia, the cooktop disappears optically and allows for seamless integration into the worktop. This unique Opera design allows the cooktop to blend unobtrusively into the kitchen design. When the cooktop is not in use, the LED touch controls disappear, leaving a large, completely matte black surface. Stylish and practical, as we have long been accustomed to from Opera.
Materia induction hobs are available in six different models: X2, X4, X5, X6, and L4. The X2 is the basic version with two cooking zones and a minimalist design, ideal for smaller kitchens or for users who need fewer cooking zones. The X4 offers four cooking zones with a bridge function, making it possible to use larger pans by joining two zones together.
The X5 further expands its capabilities with five cooking zones. This model is designed for serious cooks who want to cook multiple dishes at once. It has similar features to the X4, such as slider control and automatic pot detection, but with greater cooking capacity. The X6 is the most advanced variant with six cooking zones, ideal for large families or for users who often cook for groups. This model also has the bridge function and extensive controls, making it an excellent choice for intensive use.
Unlike the X models, the L4 focuses more on induction technology and customization options. With four cooking zones and a powerful motor, it is designed to optimize multiple cooking zones simultaneously, giving the user a smooth cooking experience.
Opera Nivel's advanced cooking system consists of five induction zones, with four side zones using the bridge function and one large central zone. This arrangement offers flexibility and makes customized cooking even more possible. In fact, the user can customize the cooktop to his or her specific needs. In terms of material, Nivel is made entirely of glass ceramic, which ensures high resistance to scratches and (finger) marks.
On the other hand, Opera's Prima induction cooktop is special because of its integrated motor placed under the cooktop. This simplifies installation and provides additional storage space in the kitchen. This Prima cooktop gains two new models: the Prima Flex and the Prima Slim. The Prima Flex is designed with a central, rotating lid and four induction cooking zones. This model has a quiet operation of 63 dB(A) and offers several settings for extraction, making it perfect for flexible cooking needs. Combining functionality with a sleek look, the Prima Slim also features four cooking zones with a powerful motor directly under the cooktop. With a width of
780 mm and a connection value of 7.4 kW.
Both models are equipped with the Prima EGO induction system, which offers an intuitive interface and integrates cooking and extraction functions. The powerful brushless motor provides high performance with low energy consumption, while the filters are easy to clean and contribute to ease of use.
