Boat show a great success

House Show, Roadshow or Boat Show. Whatever name Liebherr's events are given, they are always well attended. That was no different at this year's Boat Show. And these visitors were not disappointed. The refrigeration specialist once again showed its true strength.

Anyone who took a moment to look around after the organized tours probably would have come to the same assessment. The atmosphere was convivial, sociable and there was frequent hard laughter. It is not always obvious that this atmosphere is created at a dealer show, but Liebherr showed that it could also convey the family feeling to the visitors. Keukenbouw Magazine visited the edition in the port of Huizen. In total, it stopped at nine different locations in the Netherlands. In addition to Huizen, Rotterdam, Heusden, Roermond, Groningen, Lemmer, Zaandam, Deventer and Nijmegen were allowed to receive the boat from the German refrigeration and freezer specialist. In addition to the Netherlands, the boat also docked in several Belgian cities.

Sustainability at its best

When it comes to sustainability, users are in the right place with Liebherr. Not only is the specialist unique with its recently launched BluRox technology, but customers also like the fact that Liebherr offers an eight-year full manufacturer's warranty on all its household products, provided consumers register within six months. 

Liebherr has been ironclad in its marketing terms in recent years. This year, the statement "This year we hit a new low. caused attention. With this, Liebherr is obviously referring to the low energy consumption of its products. After all, the time of a freezer with energy label A and a fridge-freezer combi that is even more economical than energy label A has already arrived at Liebherr. 

Additional applications and 75 cm wide refrigerator-freezers

In 2024 we see many updated applications becoming available, such as the interior of built-in models in BlackSteel and 5 ultra-quiet built-in models with 27-29 dB(A). That can be called sincerely quiet. Furthermore, starting this year we see that all Prime and Peak models have the SmartDeviceBox as standard. All built-in combinations of these series also have VarioTemp. With VarioTemp, the freezer compartment can be set to a different temperature (-2 °C and +14 °C) as needed, allowing the freezer compartment to be used as a refrigerator or cellar compartment. At a large party, for example, the freezer section can be used for cooling snacks or chilling drinks.

A very welcome addition to the consumer desire for more capacity are the new 75 cm wide freestanding refrigerator-freezers, which, thanks to InteriorFit, can be seamlessly built into a niche. A total of 8 models from different series are available.

World's most economical freezer

Returning for a moment to the world's most economical freezer, the FNa 6625. Thanks to EasyOpen, the door of this 70 cm wide freezer can be opened and closed effortlessly in succession. The SpaceBox provides space for large packages, and the freezer tray is perfect for freezing fruits and spices. Thanks to FrostProtect, this freezer is also suitable for placement in unheated areas from -15°C and up, which is extra nice for users with a utility room or who want to place the freezer in a barn. Features such as the BottleTimer (available after installation of optional SmartDeviceBox), which allows users to receive a message when the beverage bottle is chilled, make the FNa 6625 a unique freezer.

Wine climate cabinets

Liebherr was one of the first to believe in wine climate cabinets. This gives them an edge over the competition, especially in terms of choices and numbers. During the boat show, a sommelier explained to visitors the importance of proper storage and drinking temperatures and how the wrong temperature affects the taste of wine. These are fine additions during events because it helps for advice to customers.
