And not without reason: by combining the cooktop and extractor fan, a separate extractor hood on the wall or ceiling is unnecessary. The touchscreen control panel is distinguished from the black induction cooktop by elegant white lighting. The cooktop features four large cooking zones with the extraction unit centered. The Downline Performance's extraction can be operated manually, semi-automatically or fully automatically. Through the various automatic modes, the fan power adjusts, perfectly to the cooking situation. It couldn't be more comfortable. New is the precisely fitting sealing cover for the intake opening of the extractor. This lid seals off the unit when not cooking and can serve as a trivet for your pans while cooking.

Perfect removal of cooking vapors

berbel Downline Performance with patented berbel principle offers the highest extraction of cooking vapors and the best air purification. The innovative cooktop extractor fan is equipped with a sliding Powermover. By moving it to the right or left, the air flow on that cooking side is intensified. The Downline Performance is equipped with a powerful, energy-efficient fan motor. Together with the berbel principle - the permanent, effective elimination of cooking vapors through the use of centrifugal force - and an optimized intake grate with angled guide bodies, which effortlessly traps vapors from the pans, the result is consistently high grease separation and, at the same time, lower energy consumption. The Downline Performance has an energy efficiency rating of A +. The separation unit consists of two parts. It contributes to the consistently high level of grease separation and, above all, offers advantages when it comes to cleaning. When the intake grille is removed, the upper separation unit can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. For thorough cleaning, the entire separation cassette can be easily removed and the individual elements easily cleaned. Cleaning in the dishwasher is also practical: both parts of the separation unit can be easily taken apart.

The Downline Performance with permalyt® filter has been awarded a Red Dot Award 2021 in two categories, namely in the winner and innovative product categories. In addition, berbel's Downline Performance with permalyt® filter also won a Plus X Award 2021 in no fewer than five categories. Both juries came to this conclusion with good reason. The permalyt® filter is the first recirculation filter system that regenerates itself! The filter system reliably transforms foul odors in the kitchen into clean air for a long time, with no maintenance required. The filter mats of the berbel permalyt® filter consist of the special activated carbon. This absorbs up to 97% of the odor molecules created during cooking. By means of a catalyst, these are neutralized (thermocatalytic process). The permalyt® filter can be optionally added to the Downline Performance. With the unique installation of this innovative filter, the sustainable function is a certainty.
