Making eyes light up. That's what happens when a new premium kitchen brand is shown to the world. Right in the middle of Pronorm's showroom, i-luminate saw the light of day, a new concept built around a lighting concept developed in-house.

The Küchenmeile lures kitchen professionals from all over Europe to Löhne (D) and its surroundings. It is there that a very large proportion of German kitchen manufacturers have established themselves. Vlotho is located in this Valhalla and it is there that Pronorm unveiled i-luminate, a new premium kitchen brand that stands out thanks to its sophisticated and exclusive handle profile with integrated lighting. An in-house developed and now patented concept that literally puts the trend of lifestyle kitchens in a whole new light. "I-luminate is the result of more than a year of brainstorming and development in a very limited group," said Theo Schrijnewerkers, sales manager for the Netherlands. "Just before the general public, we at Pronorm got the scoop and we were watching with open mouths. Wonderful."

Light for every moment

Schrijnewerkers: "We all know that no two moments are the same. Preparing a meal requires a different lighting situation than consuming it. And what about enjoying a good glass of wine in pleasant company? Where one requires sufficient light to see well and focus on the task at hand, the other requires a more romantic setting and cozier light. I-luminate to the rescue. The core of the concept is the lighting we integrate into the handles, which is also perfectly adjustable. The right atmosphere at any time. Completely personal. Light affects people's well-being like nothing else, and thanks to i-luminate it is now controllable."

Down to the smallest detail

Timeless design and high technology go hand in hand. "It is the details that make an i-luminate kitchen a beautifully formed composition of unique shades of color," notes Schrijnewerkers. "For example, there are the elements of matte brushed brass that, combined with the atmospheric light, transform any setting. The modestly lit handle strips, both horizontal and vertical, remain bright and purist.
