AEG - part of Electrolux Group - is unveiling a groundbreaking new range of ovens at the upcoming IFA 2024. These ovens integrate AI-optimized cooking technology, aimed at enhancing culinary experiences, with intuitive, personalized interactions. We are talking about advanced energy-saving capabilities and innovative assisted cooking features in this article. Precision and efficiency are more within reach than ever before.
For preparing everyday dishes to the most ambitious meals, and with AI customization via the app, the ovens offer one-touch access to a wide range of favorite dishes and step-by-step guidance.
For example, "AI TasteAssist" is a new, advanced feature designed to help consumers make the best use of their oven when trying new recipes. Research shows that 80% of consumers search for recipes online and many are unsure of how to use their oven effectively. AI TasteAssist bridges this gap. By simply sending the recipe to the oven, the feature analyzes this recipe to understand several important aspects, such as timing, temperature and protein type. The AI TasteAssist then automatically selects the optimal cooking settings. As part of the AEG app, it can even suggest programs the user has never tried before, for the tastiest and healthiest results.
CookSmartTouch has a new Dishes Assisted feature. It allows users to choose from a wide range of dishes in the categories of vegetables, meat, fish and desserts. This feature can automatically set the optimal cooking method, temperature and time. It can even use multi-step cooking, combining different cooking techniques for perfect results for specific dishes. In addition, it can guide the user with step-by-step instructions and assist in the use of accessories.
A major concern remains reducing energy consumption. AEG's latest survey, conducted in 14 European countries, shows that 77% of consumers have tried to save energy in the past 12 months. As part of the most energy-efficient kitchen collection ever launched by the brand, the new AEG ovens can save energy and preserve essential minerals and vitamins. Selected models in the new range are therefore part of the AEG EcoLine.
These are selected for their highest energy rating. AEG EcoLine also has selected models with energy label A++. Another way to save energy is cooking with full steam at lower temperatures. Cooking with steam can save up to 20% of energy. In addition, using the steam cleaning program to clean an oven can save up to 95% of energy compared to the pyrolytic self-cleaning program. In short, sustainability in optima forma!
The AEG 9000 SteamPro also allows users to effortlessly steam and prepare sous-vide dishes for more flavor and preserve more vitamin C.
The new AEG oven line is available in matte and glossy black. Furthermore, the ovens are instantly recognizable by their sophisticated glass finishes, distinctive metal handles, beautiful graphic designs and steel finishes. Ivana Bogojevic, Category Director Ovens Europe, says, "The new oven line can be seen as a personal guide to effortlessly creating dishes of consistent quality while helping the user save energy."
The new AEG oven line was launched at the 100e anniversary of IFA in Berlin and will be available throughout Europe from September 2024.
