Beko has been thriving at Gut Böckel for years and visitor numbers are increasing every year. Beko's position also seems to get stronger every year. This year's focus included Beko's full black built-in range, water-saving dishwasher technology, Beko's additional green ambition in 2030.
At Gut Böckel, the all-black designs of the b300 and bPRO500 ovens enjoyed particular attention. This new design ensures that it fits perfectly into any kitchen. The ovens are user-friendly and feature an intuitive hot air system for optimal heat distribution. Thanks to this AeroPerfect oven technology, the most delicious dishes cook perfectly and evenly!
In addition to the new full black design, the new b300 and bPRO500 series are now equipped with the latest technology such as AirFry. The name actually says it all. This AirFry technology transforms the oven into a large-capacity AirFryer. With this technology, a crispy exterior without adding oil is a breeze.
Beko's SaveWater technology, previously used in washing machines and dryers, is now also available for dishwashers. The latest built-in dishwasher, the BDIN38647C, is equipped with it and uses up to 27% less water than comparable models without this feature. But how exactly does this work? The system stores the clean water from the last rinse cycle so that it can be reused on the next cycle. For hygienic safety, the stored water is drained after a maximum of 72 hours if the dishwasher has not been started before. Thanks to this innovation, up to 728 liters of water can be saved annually, without compromising on
cleaning performance.
In Beko's refrigeration division, the focus at Gut Böckel was on AeroFlow and HarvestFresh technologies, which together help to optimize the freshness and nutritional value of products. AeroFlow provides gentle and even air distribution, ensuring temperature everywhere in the refrigerated area is
remains stable. This reduces temperature fluctuations and prevents fresh produce from drying out, so vitamins and minerals are better preserved. Thus, food can be kept longer and less is wasted. Immediately after harvest, fruits and vegetables begin to lose vitamins, even in the refrigerator. HarvestFresh extends the shelf life and nutritional value of these products using three light cycles, inspired by the natural solar cycle. Blue light simulates the morning, green light the afternoon, and red light the evening, keeping the produce in a natural state. In this way, fruits and vegetables stay fresh for up to 30 days longer.
Recognizable to many users is that you actually have to use the oven twice for cooking. And both at a different temperature. With Beko's Split & Cook technology, this is now possible. In fact, thanks to this technology, the oven can be split into two separate areas and used separately from each other with a temperature difference of up to 80 degrees and almost half as much energy. In addition, you can increase the temperature of the upper or lower heater at the touch of a button. This will give the dish a crispy bottom or a crispy and golden brown top.
More and more consumers are becoming aware of the impact of their choices on the environment, resulting in an increasing demand for sustainable home appliances. Beko, a brand committed to sustainability, has set ambitious goals for 2030. The company aims to run production entirely on green electricity, reduce energy and water consumption by 45%, recycle 70% of water and minimize waste, with the ultimate goal of achieving 99% of waste recovery.
