No more annoying fumes or odors

Discharge to the outside or recirculate? The best solution for every choice!

A kitchen without an extractor, it simply cannot be done. But what do you do with the cooking fumes and odors? Drain them outside or filter them strongly and blow them back into the kitchen? The choice is up to the customer. The German manufacturer Naber developed several solutions to do it all as well as possible.

Yes, the core business of the kitchen is still preparing meals. But as we live and work in the kitchen more and more, and as living room and kitchen merge into one big whole, we really want to get rid of the odors and fumes that arise. Dr.-Ing. Alfred Bruns of Naber: "Studies from different research centers prove that the external exhaust still offers the best results. These depend, of course, on the model as well as on how often the consumer cleans the hood. We are developing solutions to further improve performance."

Grease in the lower case

"With the advent of downdraft extraction, we saw a new phenomenon emerge," Alfred recalls. "After all, the extracted air travels out through the base cabinets, and then moisture and grease sometimes want to accumulate in the cabinet. What's the result? A greasy surface in the cabinet or a corpus damaged by moisture. But worse than damage to the furniture is the increased health risk to the occupants. Because it also increases the likelihood of mold growth. And we at Naber want to avoid that at all costs. With our GREENflow modular filter box, we stop grease, harmful substances and also odors very efficiently, even when the consumer opts for recirculation. And the COMPAIR PRIME flow® duct system, together with the TURBO 150 wall penetration unit and the energy-saving THERMOBOX, turns any downdraft into an efficient exhaust air solution."

Wall-mounted extraction

Alfred: "The interior design trends are clear: the preference is for a kitchen island and preferably one without 'visually distracting elements.' However, the studies mentioned above prove that traditional air extraction still achieves the best results. The best results come when the exhaust hood is wider than the cooktop itself. And for what is "behind it," we have helping hands ready with Naber. For example, there are the aerodynamically optimized COMPAIR® flow air ducts in two shapes and different diameters as well as the energy-efficient wall penetration units with the THERMOBOX. And that Naber also has an eye for design is proven by the exterior blinds, which have won several design awards in recent years.
