Appropriate sanitary facilities for children promote good hygiene from a very young age while ensuring fun and enjoyment during their daily routines. Geberit has therefore modernized its Bambini bathroom series (formerly the 300 kids series) with new solutions for child-friendly toilet and washbasin environments. From today, new WCs, play and wash landscapes, control plates, Geberit Duofix elements for WCs, Geberit GIS sets for wash landscapes and updated basin systems are available.
Is the toilet too high for children to sit on properly or do they have to stretch out to reach the sink to wash their hands? The Bambini bathroom series offers child-friendly sanitary facilities that allow children in nurseries and elementary school, among others, to make optimal use of the sanitary facilities. When toilets, washbasins or control plates are easily accessible for little ones, they playfully support children's development and their learning about hygiene.
"The Geberit Bambini bathroom series offers toilet and basin systems tailored to the needs of toddlers and children up to 14 years of age," Geberit said. "With update 2024, we have improved the products even further, optimized the color palette and designed the products to meet the requirements of care and cleaning staff."
The WCs in the Geberit Bambini range have been radically modernized with new WC ceramics and height-adjustable control plates. The new WC ceramics Rimfree® are available in three different heights (24, 30 and 35 cm). They are attached to Geberit Duofix elements, which have been specially developed for the Geberit Bambini WCs. With the Duofix elements, the height of the actuating plates can be adjusted to the needs of children. The ceramics are closed, so there is less room for dirt and they are easier to clean.
Children of preschool and elementary school age can look forward to the new Geberit Bambini wall-mounted toilet. The toilet can be installed at a child-friendly height of 35 cm and has a distance from the floor of 7 cm. The low installation height is achieved by a plastic flush water distributor in the ceramic, which diverts flush water from the normal frame height to the low installation height.
The Geberit Duofix element for floor-standing toilets for small children and toddlers (97 cm), with a 12 cm Sigma concealed cistern, has three predefined positions for the height of the control plate: 78, 83 and 88 cm. The factory setting of the element for floor-standing toilets is the same as that of the element for wall-mounted toilets, namely 88 cm. If the operating height is lowered or another floor-standing toilet is installed, the flush line must be shortened and the traverse for the drain adjusted to the required height.
The newly designed Geberit Bambini play and wash landscape presents itself in a modernized and timeless design. Up to three levels are integrated into the wash basins, each suitable and accessible for different age groups. These levels are connected to each other like gentle waves. This gives the design a playful and flowing appearance and provides children with plenty of water fun.
In nurseries and kindergartens it makes sense to choose colors, which are suitable for children and their ages. The new color concept means that in particular the operating plates and toilet seats, as well as the basin systems and front plates, can be combined with the washbasins in the same modern color-by-color composition. This gives the washroom a playful yet timeless look.
