"We also offer toilet bowls, sinks, bathroom furniture and mirrors from now on."
Kitchen and bathroom construction are closely linked, if only because many showrooms present both kitchens and bathrooms and it is therefore difficult not to be inspired when visiting for both. They know this at hansgrohe too; it is not for nothing that this brand has been dedicated to developing high-quality taps and showers for both kitchen and bathroom since 1901.
Last year, the German sanitaryware brand made a special development. Hansgrohe has expanded into the sanitary market and from now on also offers toilet bowls, washbasins, bathroom furniture and mirrors. Philip Rosenboom, managing director of hansgrohe Netherlands says the following: "We noticed in recent years that consumers increasingly need a one-stop shop when putting together the bathroom. We consider it important to listen to this and with this range expansion we hope to meet this demand. One can now put together a complete bathroom at hansgrohe, including taps, showers, washbasins, toilets, mirrors and accessories where everything comes together to form a single unit. In our experience center, The Water Studio in Amsterdam, customers can drop by to try out all the products and get tailored advice. We can coordinate the delivery of the products as much as possible, so that one can start (re)building the bathroom well prepared."
The new range includes toilet bowls. Hansgrohe has launched the rimless EluPura toilet, which comes in two design variants, round and SoftCube, a square variant with rounded corners. The toilets take a sustainable approach to water use, using only 4.5l per flush. In addition, the German brand complements the range with different washbasins and washbasin furniture, which match the already available range of faucets and showers in color, shape and style. The washbasins, among others, are available in different shades that bring warmth to the bathroom. All designs can be combined with each other due to the same subtle finish and matching colors.
Hansgrohe wants to serve the customer right down to the last detail of the plumbing. Rosenboom: "Consumers can also come to us for the finishing touches. For example, we offer round and rectangular mirrors with touch or infrared controls, lighting and an anti-fog function. We also developed another type of shower hose. Our DesignFlex shower hoses are made of woven high-quality recycled plastic and have a textile-like feel. A stylish addition for the bathroom."
