Relocation of TOPSOLID Netherlands to Ede festively celebrated

On March 30, the ritual cutting of a ribbon by Alderman Versteeg (Economy) of the Municipality of Ede made TOPSOLID's move official. The world's largest publisher of CAD/CAM/PDM and ERP software for the manufacturing industry organized a festive networking event for customers, partners and friends of the company on the same day. The welcoming speech and historical reflections by Albert Kuiper (CEO TOPSOLID Netherlands) were followed by presentations by Patrice Tiberi, (Directeur général Adjoint Produit & Stratégie), Armand Choquin (Director of Subsidairies), respectively, after which Paul d'Hond (Program Manager Teqnow) and Ivo Kolman (General Manager VOVU Machining) entered the rostrum. 

Rome was not built in a day 

According to Albert Kuiper, the new accommodation in Ede would provide room to grow and be the right environment for old and new collaborations with knowledge partners to flourish. The new location brings TOPSOLID physically closer to customers and partners. The CEO of TOPSOLID Netherlands spoke at length about the company's remarkable history and its continuous focus on the metal, plastics and wood processing industries over the years. The future of TopSolid had to be passed on and, according to Kuiper, that depended heavily on the continuous drive to increase knowledge and stay closely involved with customers and partners. For organizing the event, Chantal Groeneveld of Vmediagroep and Frank Streefland of PolderCatering were warmly thanked for their efforts.

TopSolid as a frontrunner in the digitization of the manufacturing industry 

Patrice Tiberi, 'Directeur général Adjoint Produit & Stratégie' and colleague Armand Choquin, Director of Subsidairies (TOPSOLID France) outlined a bright future for TopSolid and had as the theme for their presentation; ´Digital solutions for the industrial challanges of tomorrow´. TOPSOLID's extraordinary achievements were illustrated in riveting figures. Illustrative of TOPSOLID is that some 25% of all TOPSOLID employees work in R&D and that the company is now represented on almost all continents. 

Developments in the market and the power of a robust scalable software platform 

In his presentation, Paul d'Hond of Teqnow (knowledge center Koninklijke Metaalunie) outlined the major changes and shifts observable in the metal industry and that the development towards further digitalization is accelerating. The presentation by Ivo Kolman (VOVU Machining) dealt extensively with the TopSolid Shopfloor, the scalable software platform with which VOVU, as a long-time customer of TOPSOLID, has gained extensive experience. During the presentations of the various speakers it was possible to enjoy a snack and a drink (walking dinner) after which people were shown around the new office in groups. Relocation successfully completed. 

The March 30 networking event was, according to all guests and attendees, a grand opening of the new branch location. After drinks, tours and a raffle of prizes, the guests could also look back on a very informative day. The world's largest publisher of CAD/CAM/PDM and ERP software therefore showed itself to be a versatile host.
