Kemie has demonstrated in recent years, that they allow innovations to be chosen largely by their customers. After all, retailers represent a large part of the kitchen market. They know what consumers are asking for. This year, Kemie once again managed to attract attention with the introduction of no less than 17 new colors of worktops.

What made this year extra special was the variety of colors Kemie exhibited. The shades Moccachino, Vena Vecchia, Crystal Gold and Piava Crema immediately stood out for their warm, natural look. These colors perfectly matched this year's theme of earth tones. Kemie chose to have 17 of the colors tested by the visitors themselves, which created an interactive experience. Visitors could give their opinions and choose their favorites, while one color had already been pre-selected by Kemie as the favorite of the year.

Stylish worktops

The presentation took place at a special location, namely the historic Haus Beck in Löhne, Germany. This estate, with more than 800 years of history, is the perfect backdrop for Kemie's modern and stylish worktops. In the open-air Gallery at Bauformat, visitors could not only admire the latest colors, but also experience them in large format and up close. The combination of the rich history of the location and the modern look of the worktops created a special atmosphere that offered both tranquility and inspiration.

Retailer involvement

Kemie managed to engage its visitors enthusiastically.
The interactive exhibition ensured that customers were not just spectators, but could actively contribute ideas about the latest products. Hans ter Weele of Kemie showed us around and saw that this format was once again a success for Kemie. "Feedback from visitors is valuable, and this makes our experience more personal and even more inspiring. We certainly noticed this with the Bauformat kitchen setup with Silver Root worktop from Kemie with a brass patina sink. We received very good feedback on this."

Traditional evening of music

The event was filled with new ideas, innovations and valuable insights into the latest trends within kitchen design and interior design. Hans: "But for Kemie and Bauformat, the Küchenmeile is not just about product presentations. The atmosphere and togetherness were at least as important. With the absolute highlight being the Monday evening, when our now traditional Kemie Live band gave a performance." This band, consisting of enthusiastic colleagues and peers, ensured a relaxed and pleasant evening in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the fair. The musical finale gave everyone a chance to relax, catch up and enjoy the unique atmosphere that makes the Küchenmeile so special.

It's something we see more and more during the Küchenmeile. It is no longer just about innovations and novelties, but also about being together with each other. Kemie-Live is one of the trendsetters in this. It was clear that Kemie had made a good choice with its focus on earth tones, judging by the positive response from visitors. The warm, natural colors are not only timeless, but also fit perfectly into the current trends of both modern and classic kitchens. With this, this Küchenmeile 2024 seems to have been a more than great success for Kemie
